  • Glad I came across this podcast

Good guests and the tone is easy going with a genuine love for the wrestling we all miss. It’s nostalgic for the past but not angry about it. A great listen.

  • Eh

I enjoyed Bob on STW so I thought I’d give the Top 100 80s a shot. I made it to Bob’s Tito Santana. It’s hard for me to listen to a guy rank the Top 100 when he doesn’t remember if Tito was an IC champion in that decade. Maybe I’m being over critical, but this just stuck in my craw.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

A Lifetime Of Fond Memories - With John McAdam!
Q: Do you have a moment, a year, for anything like that, do you look back and you said, man, this is my jam?
I think I was happiest as a wrestling fan. I'm going to say 1982. That was 43 long years ago. Number one, I went to all of the shows at the Boston Garden.
Brian Solomon's New Classic Book On Gorilla Monsoon!
Q: Was it the same for this book? Was there things you really needed to get at that were hard to uncover?
There were a lot more people to talk to. The family was involved this time, which made gathering information easier.
Brian Solomon's New Classic Book On Gorilla Monsoon!
Q: Did you know Monsoon or have access to him at the time when you worked there?
No, I did not. I started my first day of work a few days after his funeral.
Our Favorite Years - With Steve Gennarelli!
Q: What about your least favorite year?
I don't have a specific year, but at some point in the 2000s when I was in college, I became less focused on wrestling.
Our Favorite Years - With Steve Gennarelli!
Q: What was your favorite year of pro wrestling?
1986, because it was the year I recorded every Saturday morning match and solidified my fandom.
