Myths mixed with time travel and SciFi ... both epic and individual dramas. Bad Corporations & Government. Literal Nazis. This really came alive for me a couple episodes into S2, and ended pretty well, after id struggled to come to terms with the ... well ... reliance on the tropey canon.
