In a landscape where the majority of theatre-related podcasts are virtually unlistenable (Broadway Breakdown notwithstanding), this is full of fresh, funny, insightful conversations & it proves you don’t have to be in the industry to put out great B’way-related content. But hoping subsequent episodes won’t be featuring Scott Rudin, Harvey... more

This has quickly become my favorite podcast. I can’t get enough of the Broadway insider interviews and Casey is a hilarious host! Some of the Hot Scene Cold Reads deserve to made into SNL skits. I think I actually guffawed during one of them, which is an unappealing but accurate descriptor. Please never stop making this show!!

A lively backstage-focused interview vibe centered on theater insiders, giggling through candid stories about touring chaos, backstage mishaps, audition escapades, and the realities of life in the Broadway ecosystem. Episodes blend humor with sharp, real-talk about fandom, industry dynamics, and the hustle of staying creatively relevant, with frequent exchanges about rehearsal culture, show business economics, and the personal costs and joys of a Broadway career. Notable for its irreverent, gossip-flavored tone and a strong sense of community, it often features guests who bridge performance, direction, criticism, and production—offering listeners practical anecdotes, career insights, and a sense of belonging to a vibrant theater world.
