    I’ve listened to a couple of these now and it seemed like it would be right up my street, some guys discussing fantasy fiction. One of the presenters has nuanced takes and provides interesting insights, unfortunately the other chap I find reasonably intolerable. He has maximalist views on everything and is still at the point where he thinks swearing is cool.   • The best fantasy pod

    I listen to a few book pods and find this one the most entertaining. It’s lighthearted and funny but also intelligent and knowledgeable with a love for the subject matter. Obviously a genuine friendship, love the gentle banter.

    Whenever I am in the mood to hear a couple of middle-aged white guys pretend to be offended over books that were written almost 100 years ago, this is the first place I go and they never disappoint.
