This podcast is compelling and very moving; however, the only speaker consistently audible is Amanda. This problem permeates every episode I have tried to listen to. It’s such a shame.
Thank you for sharing your story and for being so caring. Dark Valley was also done so well. more
Thank you for sharing your story, Jane. You exude bravery and strength and also kindness and caring when talking about the victims of the Connecticut River Valley Killer.

I can’t even imagine going through what you did, you are a very strong and brave woman and I hope you know that strength your daughter has comes from YOU!!♥️ I haven’t finished listening to the whole podcast but something that stands out to me, and forgive my ignorance as I am not familiar with the other killings so not sure what the pattern is with the killer, but with you it seemed he thought you beat up/threatened to beat up his girlfriend ... more
I was a victim of molestation as a teenager, and this podcast opened my eyes to how much unresolved trauma that I’m dealing with. Even though I’m 39 years old, the pain never goes away. I can very much truly relate to Jane’s situation as different as it might be. I wish you nothing more than a resolution to your case. I hate the word closure, but having answers is all you can hope for. Please check out my new true crime podcast called BLEAK if you’re interested.
