  • Feminist junk on an otherwise good show.

Spreads misandrist propaganda promoting the brain rot falsehood that the gender-pay gap is the fault of men.

It is actually the result of female career and lifestyle choices.

Take your complaints elsewhere and stop ruining an otherwise good show.

  • Good range of subjects and presenters

Enjoy both the regular weekly podcast but a special mention goes to the Lee and the IC series for a great in depth conversation looking at smaller stocks in much more detail.

The weekly podcast is good with a round up of market news along with company specific updates. I like their style - informative yet not flashy and very British.

I’ve been introduced to the IC through listening to these podcasts over the past 9 months and have now become a subscriber to the magazine too - surely the po... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Unilever’s $45bn deal, Berkeley & tech: Companies and Markets Show
Q: What will Unilever be left with after the deal?
Unilever retains a 65% stake in the enlarged McCormick and keeps a sliver of its food business in select markets, meaning investors will be exposed to McCormick's stock and to the evolving combined portfolio rather than a clean exit.
‘It’s hard to find safe assets’ - Jacob de Tusch-Lec of Artemis Global Income | IC Interviews
Q: What are your thoughts on AI as an investment trend and how it affects exposure?
The team aims to invest on the capex beneficiaries side of AI—data centers, semiconductors, and infrastructure—rather than chasing high-multiple MAX 7-style stocks, favoring older, cash-generative businesses that benefit from AI-driven spending while maintaining dividend income.
‘It’s hard to find safe assets’ - Jacob de Tusch-Lec of Artemis Global Income | IC Interviews
Q: What prompts you to sell a stock and how often do you rebalance?
Sell decisions arise from better ideas, portfolio tilts, or changes in valuation and momentum; turnover is higher than many peers to continuously replace less fitting names with stronger opportunities, especially in fast-moving markets.
‘It’s hard to find safe assets’ - Jacob de Tusch-Lec of Artemis Global Income | IC Interviews
Q: What happened with the UK exposure, and how global is the fund in practice?
The team intentionally keeps UK exposure light, preferring global names and a broad 7,000-stock universe to find pockets of opportunity worldwide, including banks and other industries outside the UK.
‘It’s hard to find safe assets’ - Jacob de Tusch-Lec of Artemis Global Income | IC Interviews
Q: How important are valuations in all that process?
Valuation matters as a safety cushion, but the team is willing to pay up for growth where earnings can drive multiple expansion, and places higher emphasis on valuation in the risk bucket and bond proxy areas while remaining more flexible in the growth bucket.
