Excellent source of detailed info on investing & finance. Loved the humour, totally relate to both, Mark & Shani. Grateful for someone so knowledgeable with different approaches sharing their experiences & expertise. I now finished all the episodes:( & will very much miss the podcast. Loved the general finance episodes on super, retirement, tax, etc Made me laugh as well:) i will be getting a book next! Natalia
Ultimately they have the same view as most of those offering investment advice - go boring, long term, diversified.
Which is great. But you can’t make a podcast out of that. So you end up making episodes about all sorts of stuff and ultimately it dilutes that core message.
The information is good but the hosts spend too much time on irrelevant chats.
I mean the info is great. The guy spending half of each episode talking about himself is super painful tho
Excellent -easy to understand and you are both so hilarious . Who thought that money could also be funny ?! Thanks

Two hosts from a Morningstar Australia-backed show deliver practical, fundamentals-focused investing insights with a long-term bias. Episodes frequently compare Australian and US investing practices, unpack tax and franking considerations, and walk through real-world examples on dividends, superannuation, and asset allocation. A consistent thread is making complex topics approachable through data, stories, and actionable takeaways, with guest experts and sponsorships providing additional context. The format blends market commentary, learning moments, and banter to keep listeners informed without sacrificing clarity for newbies, while still offering depth for more seasoned investors.
