  • Christian Nationalism episode

Other episodes have been good, but the guest has obvious progressive biases. For example, he doesn’t understand the need for secure borders and fails to understand that we can’t absorb every person who wants to live here. He also overlooks the fact that the instability and economic burdens the huge number of immigrants are creating. And he is oblivious to the sad examples playing out in the UK and EU countries that are farther along in their migrant crises. The great majority of the immigrants a... more

  • This is not a true philosophy podcast, instead something closer to theology. It takes as a starting point that something is taken to exist or possibly exists (god or gods). True philosophy would rather try to make sense of ourselves as humans and the world from fundamentals, what we should think and why, without this external reference.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

LIVE CALL IN-SHOW: Why Are You Not a Christian?
Q: Is there anything that could convince you Christianity is true besides miracles?
Guest outlines personal criteria for belief, including a personal miracle, repeated reliable testimonies, and converging lines of evidence, while the hosts discuss the role of consistency and probability in belief formation.
LIVE CALL IN-SHOW: Why Are You Not a Christian?
Q: Why are you not a Christian today?
Guest(s) express various reasons for doubt, including concerns about historical reliability of scriptures, moral and ethical questions, and the problem of evil, with the hosts offering apologetic counterpoints focusing on evidence and interpretation.
LIVE CALL IN-SHOW: Miracles Prove Christianity
Q: Do miracles prove Christianity?
The guests largely agree that miracles can increase credence for Christianity but do not produce absolute proof; the strength and type of miracle, its context, and supporting theological interpretations all influence whether it counts as evidence for Christianity versus a natural or generic supernatural explanation.
Did Paulogia Accidentally Concede the Resurrection?
Q: What is the Minimal Witness Hypothesis and why is it important here?
It proposes that the origins of Christianity can be explained by the experiences of a small number of early witnesses (likely Peter and Paul), rather than requiring a broad set of miraculous events; the discussion revolves around whether this minimalist explanation can account for all the available data.
GodLogic Destroys Jake the Muslim on the Islamic Dilemma
Q: Does Jesus abolish the jizya?
Jake initially said no, but it is confirmed in the hadith that he will abolish it.
