This Podcast is really one of the best ever. It is so always so interesting and useful. That this is free is really awesome!
I have listened to so many of the video editing podcasts, Once Upon a Timeline is the only one I take seriously. Yes, Paddy does promote his online classes but there is so much to be gained from listening to these episodes. He is giving first hand, very personal viewpoints on some of the more intangible aspects of editing. The podcast is not only informative, it is also very encouraging.
I highly recommend this detailed, insightful exploration of the art of editing. Paddy is practical, philosophical and inspiring. Each episode is a gem - I learn something new with each topic covered. Thank you for delving deep into this beautiful art form and for sharing your knowledge. ⭐️
Paddy Bird is a brilliant teacher. His Inside the edit course and bootcamps are vital resources for anyone interested in editing. This podcast is a continuation of that. If you’re interested in editing, this podcast will teach you a lot. I love it.

I am also working my way through your recommendations and have most recently watched JFK and Adam Curtis’s Century of the Self series. The Great Beauty and Fog of War are next on my list.
