This is primarily a story told about Clayton’s version of his Mum. About how he felt while his Mum was actively dying. Instead of having any sense of awareness about how his family felt, Clayton decided his job “was for the greater good” was to narrate it. Leaving his healthy kids, wife and job became a hassle while he asked unrelenting questions. Rest easy Mum of Clayton.
I listened to this whole story last night and finished this morning. I appreciate you sharing your story and thank your mother for sharing her thoughts of what she was having to deal with. My mother is terminal and has a few months to go and my brother and I are finding it to be very difficult even during her better days. This has given me a lot to think about. Again, thank you. My deepest condolences to you and your family.
I listened to this podcast when a loved one was going through the final stages of cancer. The podcast helped me understand what was happening, when it was time to lighten the mood, when it was time to say thank you for everything she had done for me and when it was time to say goodbye. Thank you for this invaluable resource.
An incredible podcast, very honest and down to earth. I lost my own father almost three years ago and it brought back so many memories. It is so wonderful to find a podcast that deals not only with life and death, but also faith in Jesus Christ and what that means when you go through the loss of a loved one. Beautifully done and God Bless.
Thank you for sharing such a personal time. Thank you to your mum and I hope she and your family find peace. Loads of love.
