So glad I’ve found this pod. It’s refreshing to listen to interesting and entertaining comment but without the ‘oh look how clever I am attitude’. Brilliant
Fantastic podcast. Unparalleled insights and such good chemistry between the hosts
Really refreshing and different, many thanks. I listen to a lot of politics podcasts - this is a great addition thanks!
After becoming a bit fed up of other ‘political double act’ podcasts, which all feel quite similar (and very ego-driven), this was a welcome and refreshing discovery. Both hosts are insightful, and more interested in sharing their knowledge than they are in boasting about their personal connections. The only thing I struggle with is telling which host is speaking at any given time (and therefore building up a sense of them as individuals), as their voices and accents are quite similar!
Great political unbiased podcast with relatable, experienced presenters and intelligent overview - Just great

Insiders-turned-analysts unpack how power actually operates in UK politics, offering insider perspectives on decision-making, crisis management, and the mechanics behind government actions. Episodes mix practical anecdotes from Westminster with sharp analysis of leadership, policy, and the forces shaping public messaging, often interlaced with humor. The show tends to appeal to listeners who want a clearer picture of how rooms in No.10 and Whitehall function, not just what happened in the headlines. A standout is the duo's rare access coupled with candid, experience-led commentary that adds nuance to coverage of crises, leadership challenges, and strategic governance.
