My favourite of the many political podcasts I listen to. An unmatched mix of humour, knowledge and debate. Love them all but I could listen to Danny tell his anecdotes and political science theories all day.
This is a weekly must-listen for me. It’s a good blend of topical politics and insight into raw political strategy, with balance from across the spectrum. It’s presented in a light hearted way without losing any of the serious insight.
The pod used to be presented jointly by Labour, LibDem, Tory. It was an interesting, fun listen with varied views. Now it’s LibDem, Tory, Reform. I’m not interested in just listening to the right / far right (with one lone voice from the centre) chat, so I’ve given up.
I look forward to to this podcast every week because I often get three different angles from the panel which challenge my thinking. Not too serious either - oh and great signature tune 😉
If you’re only interested in a biased view of the world (the BBC view), this will be right up your street. If you’re looking for a balanced view, sorry, you won’t find it here. Robert and Steph are a perplexing duo, but hey, if that floats your boat, go for it!
