I’ve started having a personal sweepstake to guess at what point in each podcast Miranda will mention that she works for the financial times. I give myself five minute time bands.
This is a good podcast hosted by the brilliant Steve Richards but the sole female Miranda ruins it by totally dominating the conversation. Poor Tim hardly gets a word in
A previously strong podcast that is coming apart at the seams. Tim’s embedded position within Reform (which he emphasises and de-emphasises as suits him) sets him apart as an activist among commentators. I couldn’t believe his techy dismissal of the Nathan Gill issue, or that this was not pressed more strongly by the others.
This tension is starting to derail discussion and will become unsustainable as the election approaches. A real shame.
This is the best episode of the best political podcast. Proper principled disagreement done with controlled passion and courtesy.
Ah finally you actually got to putting your views forward more honestly much better podcast -How dare you interrupt Tim! Shall i tell you when you got to know the type of man Trump was -when he imitated and dehumanised a disabled reporter by mimicking him in his speech -repeated by that beyond awful tweet to an actor who was murdered with his wife -he is a sex offender is all over the Epstein files -demented narcissist backed by a neo fascist in the white house -he didn’t have Iranian women in... more
