  • Great theology

I have been listening to Janet Parshall for over 10 years now, she really helped shaped my theology and open my eyes to the crisis in the Middle East. Her reminder to have the Bible in one hand and newspaper in the other is very prevalent and Janet’s show provides quality guests, great commentary, and encouragement for Christians around the world. I listen to many podcasts now, but no one feels like home like in the market with Janet Parshall.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The New Fight For Life
Q: When did you decide that pro-life advocacy was worth committing to as a fight worth having?
Ben Watson explains that his upbringing around life-affirming values, his faith, and personal experiences with family and community shaped his lifelong commitment, expanding it into a broader justice-oriented framework.
The Unseen War
Q: Can a demon influence multiple family members at the same time?
Demons are not omnipresent; they can bother individuals who have opened doors, and it is possible for demonic influence to extend to multiple people if doors are opened, but the guidance remains to address it with confession and Scripture.
The Unseen War
Q: How should a family approach Freemasonry and ancestral open doors?
Confess the sin that opened the door, ask God to cancel the ground given to demons, and command their removal, with ongoing faith and accountability among the homeowners.
The Unseen War
Q: Does baptism guarantee demons will leave a person alone?
The guest explains that baptism does not guarantee demonic freedom and emphasizes biblical teaching that believers may still face spiritual opposition, requiring ongoing reliance on confession, repentance, and Scripture.
What Is Biblical Theology?
Q: How does biblical theology differ from a standard theological approach to Scripture?
Biblical theology starts with the text itself, focusing on the historical context and the authors' own theological messages, and then synthesizes these into canonical, thematic, and ethical understandings rather than applying a fixed systematic framework from the outset.
