  • Great theology

I have been listening to Janet Parshall for over 10 years now, she really helped shaped my theology and open my eyes to the crisis in the Middle East. Her reminder to have the Bible in one hand and newspaper in the other is very prevalent and Janet’s show provides quality guests, great commentary, and encouragement for Christians around the world. I listen to many podcasts now, but no one feels like home like in the market with Janet Parshall.

  • Manifesto

I typically love this show in its entirety and content. However, on this episode to hear the opinion that George Floyd’s death was a hateful murder was quite disturbing. Especially coming from Janet. She’s came to her own conclusion on that but that was quite shocking.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Christ Before His Earthly Life
Q: How do you reconcile Jesus being called the 'Son of God' in relation to His deity?
The term 'Son of God' refers to Jesus's nature as divine and does not imply that He came into being at a point in time; it indicates His eternal relationship with the Father and His same nature as God.
Christ Before His Earthly Life
Q: Can you clarify the role and nature of the Trinity?
The doctrine of the Trinity is complex and involves understanding that there's one God, but within the Godhead are three distinct persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each fully God yet also distinct in their roles. This is supported through numerous biblical verses that affirm the divinity of each person of the Trinity.
The Rescuer
Q: How do you cope with the mental health aspects of being a first responder?
I realized I needed a biblical foundation to address the emotional toll and gain clarity amid chaos.
The Rescuer
Q: Did you find yourself more interested in the paramedic aspect or the firefighting aspect?
I enjoyed the action of firefighting and felt it vital to also be skilled in medical emergencies.
The Rescuer
Q: What compelled you to become a firefighter?
It wasn't until 9/11 that I truly recognized the sacrifices firefighters make and decided to embark on that path.
