  • Great theology

I have been listening to Janet Parshall for over 10 years now, she really helped shaped my theology and open my eyes to the crisis in the Middle East. Her reminder to have the Bible in one hand and newspaper in the other is very prevalent and Janet’s show provides quality guests, great commentary, and encouragement for Christians around the world. I listen to many podcasts now, but no one feels like home like in the market with Janet Parshall.

Praying In Pain
Q: Can you share how biblical examples like Hezekiah and Paul inform our approach to unanswered prayers or prolonged suffering?
Both Hezekiah and Paul illustrate turning to God in crisis—seeking his sovereignty, pleading for relief, and ultimately aligning with his purposes—showing that God's answer may be timing or discipline, but his grace is sufficient.
Praying In Pain
Q: How does lament differ from mere complaint, and why is it important for Christians facing chronic pain?
Lament is a structured form of crying out to God that acknowledges pain while remaining oriented toward God's character and faithfulness; it allows believers to express hurt without losing trust in God, which is crucial for maintaining spiritual resilience during chronic pain.
