Softball coverage isn’t great in general. Cookie cutter interviews with surface level answers that they recite over and over again. “I knew my team had my back.” Nonsense like that is most of every interview in this sport. But In the Circle is among the worst overall.
Their commentary is unintelligent and uninteresting. Their interviews are plain and have zero depth. They take no chance to ask detailed, interesting questions that only the coaches or players they interview could answer. You have... more

Interview with another broadcaster and asking about how she felt calling games? That’s something you do in season not right after Regionals!! Talk about the teams and the players.
