  • Incredible journalism!

Thanks you for this terrifyingly shocking and honest story. I so wanted to be surprised at the levels of abuse and neglect but of course it was a sad reality for so many

  • Can there be anything more important ?

I have just listened to episode 1. Children are failed in so many ways and so very much more could be done by people in positions of power, politicians, judges, police, to listen, learn and protect children. The impression I have is this podcast values children and their experiences. I appreciate the respectful tone, gravitas, unflinching approach and preparedness to listen. Excellent, ethical journalism. Thank you .

  • In this age of investigative storytelling, not much shocks me anymore. But this one packs a punch. Well told, consistently focused, painful at times, and compelling. To realize that PIE not only existed openly for years, but also influenced social work training and policy (perhaps even now) is apalling.
