Highly recommend. Powerful stories, thoughtfully and beautifully told. Not only for those interested in migration. But for those interested in people .
I just arrived in the US a couple years ago, just before turning 18, and living in New York, I hear all the time from others, that “New York isn’t the same as the rest of the US”, and I’m only beginning to understand why. I had always been at a loss when I heard it, because I wasn’t exposed to anything different. So this program is really enlightening! Exposure and education are critical to understanding our society and democracy.
This podcast is exactly what I’ve been looking for these last 4 years as my interest in domestic immigration issues and policy has increased. I look forward to each new episode and trust the content is going to be solid coming from Harvard. I have not been disappointed. Each week is different and exciting to hear from multiple perspectives. My own professional work centers on refugee resettlement, and I’m thrilled to finally have a podcast I can recommend to anyone interested in human migration!... more
