They’re not solving mysteries or answering deep questions, but it’s a fun listen. I think it’s cool that they’re not SATC stans - it gives them a unique perspective. Their banter is pretty funny and I always enjoy when they disagree on something because it’s usually over something very silly.
I’m not a SATC fan but this podcast is still so enjoyable. They recap so you don’t have to watch and then give honest responses. They are very real and often don’t like the episode and aren’t afraid to explain why. It’s a really good time. 5 stars!
I was never a SATC watcher but curious about the appeal. This podcasts does a great job laughing at the light stuff and also diving deeper into the issues and problematic elements of each. Hosts recap each ep so I don’t have to watch it, which is great.
Super fun show. I found this after going back to the original SATC after watching And Just Like That. Love their takes on each episode, especially that they aren’t superfans of the show and are watching for basically the first time, though they were familiar with it when it was on. Each episode gets better and better, you can tell they’re finding their flow together and I can’t wait to hear the next episode.
This is a great listen. Kristin and Megyn review each classic episode of Sex and the City with a modern perspective. Smart and fun analysis. They keep me laughing and entertained. It’s interesting to go through the episodes that seemed so fresh and cutting edge at the time and see how they hold up (or don’t) lol.
