  • A bit one sided

As long as they stay out of politics it’s alright. The latest episode on Trump and tariffs, now interview someone on the other side!! Just to be fair of course!!

  • Excellent Reporting

I came across this podcast searching for local reporting on the tragic college murders, and I have stayed to listen to other Idaho news stories because I am impressed by Gemma Gaudette. She is thoughtful, insightful and knowledgeable and has a great speaking voice. The reporting is factual without sensation and has been respectful of the victims.

How zoning codes affect affordable housing in Idaho
Q: Can you give us an example of how zoning codes impact housing development in Idaho?
Zoning codes that require large minimum lot sizes and heavy parking mandates can block smaller, more affordable housing like duplexes or ADUs, forcing developers to seek variances or not build at all, which constrains supply and keeps prices high.
