因為馬祖位於東亞候鳥遷徙線上，是許多鳥類北返南遷時的重要中繼站，春過境、秋過境、夏候鳥與冬候鳥，一年四季都能看見不同鳥類的身影。這片島嶼也因豐富的鳥類資源，成為賞鳥與觀察自然的新亮點。

在馬祖，每一條蜿蜒的道路，都隱藏著一段古老的地質絮語。有一群人，正努力將這些地質的故事，說給更多人聽。
2018年，馬祖地質公園依文資法公告設立，是台灣第一座地方級地質公園。隔年，馬祖地質公園協會隨之誕生，並以地景保育、環境教育、地景旅遊與社區參與等4大核心展開工作。協會不僅在據點官帽山進行步道改善、環境維護，更舉辦導覽解說、社區走讀與地質嘉年華等豐富活動，讓居民與遊客在參與中認識地質，感受地景保育的價值。

堅硬的火成岩，層層交錯的紋理，見證了馬祖島嶼的形成故事。當我們來到馬祖，眼前的每一塊岩石，背後都蘊藏著億萬年的地質秘密。
跟隨馬祖地質公園協會理事長莊順福，走訪南竿秋桂山海岸風景區的「斑馬岩」。黑白相間的岩石，如同斑馬身上的條紋，其實是花崗岩與玄武岩漿在地層深處相遇後，歷經上千萬年的推擠與抬升所誕生的奇蹟。
秋桂山主要岩體是花岡岩，後來約9千萬年前玄武岩沿著花岡岩的節理侵入，形成一深一淺的岩石排列，如斑馬狀的條紋。接著來到東引，跟隨金牌解說員劉雅佩（佩佩）的腳步，觀察3種不同岩石共存的「三色... more
位於宜蘭縣員山鄉的雙連埤，過去曾被譽為「水草天堂」。這片湖泊曾孕育全國三分之一以上的原生水生植物，是極為珍貴的生態寶庫。但在大約30年前，因人為引入吳郭魚、草魚等外來種魚類，水草逐漸被啃蝕殆盡，湖泊的生物多樣性也受到嚴重衝擊。
為了挽救這片珍貴的濕地，荒野保護協會（以下簡稱荒野）長期投入復育與調查工作，2024年起，更展開定期移除外來種魚類的工作。
