  • Truth is spoken here

I have been in an emotionally abusive marriage for 25 years. Just a few years ago I heard about emotional abuse and was finally able to make sense of what was going on in my marriage. It’s like a light bulb went off. I had been living in a Twilight Zone episode. Fast forward years, counselors, research, 50+ books, podcasts etc… but there’s no one, in my opinion, who gets it like Dr Clarke. Not hours of reading, counseling and continuation of the madness. A clear understanding and plan… in ... more

  • I feel such relief while listening

My pastors counseled and gaslit me so hard. I ended up leaving and letting my evil covert narc husband stay there. He’s in leadership and I was going crazy. I joined Flying Free with Natalie Hoffman and found out about David Clarke while in the program and wow. I feel so empowered and I know I’m not crazy. I can move on and be free and I now completely understand what was going on in those bizarre marriage counseling sessions!!!

  • Truthful and Biblical

Finally I found someone who understands emotional abuse! I’ve been dealing with (what I suspect) is a covert narcissistic husband for a decade. Everything is my fault while he plays the victim, and uses the religious card to point out my flaws (while he plays the victim). Glad I found this podcast so I can stop second guessing myself!!

What Parents MUST Know When Their Child Dates a Narcissist
Q: How can we, my wife and I, not feel like we are betraying how Jesus tells us to treat our fellow believers?
The narc is not a fellow believer, so there's no need to worry about that. You're in a battle against an enemy who is using this narcissist to destroy your family.
How to go from codependent to independent.
Q: What is your advice for someone dealing with a narcissistic pastoral leader?
You're probably going to have to leave. They are masters at gaining control of the leadership.
Missing the Narcissist? Here’s Why
Q: Why after separating or divorcing the narc do you still miss him?
Many individuals experience trauma bonding that keeps them feeling connected to their abuser, even after separation.
q&A Session on Narcissism
Q: Is narcissism synonymous with sociopathy?
Absolutely, many narcissists lack empathy and conscience which leads to sociopathy.
q&A Session on Narcissism
Q: Are you aware that there are even narcs who are self-diagnosing themselves with autism as well?
Yes, some narcissists will claim they have late-onset autism or use autism as a cover for their behavior.
