I am fascinated by this podcast. I have learned a lot about dogs in general and hunting dogs in particular. The hosts do an excellent job with this podcast. They are knowledgeable and they do a wonderful job of explaining the history of hunting dogs. Because they are such good storytellers, the stories and narratives are as interesting as they are informative. I am always looking forward to the next podcast. If you’re interested in dogs, I highly recommend giving this podcast a listen.

They dig deep into history, current trends, and the hunting dog world to share fascinating stories about the hunting dogs that we love so much. The primary focus is upland and versatile hunting dogs. I consider myself a pretty knowledge hunting dog owner, but I learn something new with every episode. I'm so glad they brought back new seasons and I look forward to new episodes whenever they come out.

I have listened to several HDC podcasts and so far my top favourites are Origins of Teckels (one of my breeds, I even learned a few things!) Using Bird Dogs While Hawking (with fellow falconer Anthony, it was a 10/10) and Can Dog Shows Judge Hunting Dog Performance (another lifestyle I am passionate about). I hope more listeners will tune in!
