  • Great content, can’t hear host

Host volume is always so low, making it a struggle to listen as the guest volume becomes much louder. Months ago this was not an issue. Sadly can not handle the volume inconsistencies with the host and guest so I am unfollowing.

  • Too hard to hear host

Topics are great, guests are knowledgeable, but the difference in volume between host and guest is so frustrating! Either you can’t hear the host or the guest is breaking your ear drums.

  • I can barely hear the host's question

I like the content. However, the unbalanced sound volume between the host and guest speaker is so off. It might hurt your hearing when the guest starts to talk if you use headphones when increasing the volume to hear the host.

HR Works Video Podcast: The My Pleasure Advantage: Why Chick-fil-A Wins on People
Q: What makes Chick-fil-A's culture so consistent across locations?

HR Works Podcast: How to Talk, Manager to Manager w/ Kamaria Scott Pt. 1
Q: What originally drew you to the topic of management effectiveness?
Kamaria explains that her interest started with her AOL experience and the realization that the people leaders shaped the culture and engagement even during chaotic changes. This early passion evolved into a focus on helping leaders develop the skills and practices needed to lead through change.
HR Works Podcast: Meta Leading the Great Tech Shift
Q: So what have you found is the most effective way to equip managers to lead through this change effectively and at the right pace?
Chelsea suggests a balanced approach: educate managers about the current state, acknowledge uncertainty, foster curiosity, and empower them to guide their teams through a structured, narrative-driven adoption that emphasizes value and alignment rather than rushing experimentation.
The HR Works Video Podcast: NASA, Nordstrom, and Fixing Burnout
Q: So, Betsy, you've led change at organizations ranging from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory to Disney and Nordstrom. What is the one human truth about change that stays the same, whether you're launching a rocket or a new retail model?
The core truth is that people can handle complexity, but uncertainty is what erodes confidence; clarity about expectations, decisions, and fairness matters most to maintain trust during change.
HR Works Video Podcast: The Pillars of Leadership Pt. 2
Q: Out of all of your experience, what would you say is the pillar of leadership that you stand by no matter the time period or the work?
The pillar is putting people first and treating HR as the resource for humans, ensuring you understand and support the people involved, and recognizing that leadership is about service to others rather than personal gain.
