I love listening to the story telling with my kids, and they ask for it regularly. But when you want to listen to a story with kids, the last thing you want is an adult (and boring) discussion at the start… it would be much better to just jump right into the story and then have discussion at the end of even a separate podcast for parents to listen to themselves. I have to say I am skipping 3 mins ahead every listen.
I haven’t gone back to listen to the first season, yet. But this second season with Thom’s storytelling is wonderful. He’s so fun and energetic - a unique talent that bounces so well off of Gen. If anyone has contacts with the ABC, Thom should absolutely be on Playschool or maybe How To Build A Universe should be it’s own semi-animated show.
My kids and I loved listening to this together! Really felt as though we were in the enchanted forest and I can’t wait for the next episode!
My daughter is completely captured by the storytelling here. Can’t wait for the next adventure!
