This pod is essential if you follow NDSU sports. He often asks questions that would not be allowed on NDSU radio (Bison 1660). Routinely gets excellent guests, and offers air time to a lot of sports and stories that don’t get attention (high school sports etc). I listen to this show almost every single day.

  • Too much partisan yelling

Used to love Dom but then he started yelling for hours about masks...”if we would just wear masks, we could have a season”.....well now look at Europe who supposedly did it so much better than we did. Too political for me, if I want that there are hundreds of political pods

Q: How do you deal with a young team when facing high expectations as defending champions?
We emphasize that last year was last year, and this year's goal is to hunt for a new championship, not just defend the last one.

Q: What does it feel like being the reigning champs knowing everyone wants a piece of the Hawks?
It feels fulfilling, but also brings a responsibility to perform well every night and bring our best effort.
12/31/2025: Drew Trafton, Alec Ausmus, and Jayden Onuonga
Q: Was it difficult for you to go from kicking a round ball your entire life to kicking a football?
Yes, a big thing is that soccer players' swing is across their body, whereas with football you have to swing more straight.

There is a lot of talent, and young guys will get plenty of reps in practice, leading to their readiness by season start.
