  • Fun to watch and listen to

    It’s hard to believe its been 12 years since this show aired. The one thing that I would like to see is Yodit dissenting more. She’s only dissented twice in season 9 and has not dissented since.

    In the past I’ve rated Hot Bench 4/5 stars because it’s fun, entertaining, and sometimes even educational. The main reason I listen to this podcast is that it puts a smile on my face. (I’m also a huge fan of Judge Judy and it has shades of that.) The most recent episode, “Gone in a Snack”, left me with a really icky feeling and a grimace. The reasoning, rationale, and lack of empathy expressed about the plaintiff in their private discussion (especially from Judge Juarez), struck me as over the t... more
