  • HMV Podcast so entertaining!

I mostly listen to these guys when I’m at work. But I share many opinions with the crew. They talk about the films as much as they can & their back&forth banter is comedy gold. Bring back the Nic Cage shirt bees/smashing pumpkins reference!!

  • The Three Faces of Pretension

These guys talk about 95% of the movies they watch with disdain and hate. Constantly talking about how they could do better or how they dont really enjoy the movie because its beneath them. Further they get extremely hateful to the cast making personal attacks but pretend to be holier than thou and its disgusting. I would love a podcast that tears apart -their- physical looks and lack of talent like they do to some people. Scott specifically is an intolerable waste of protein and a hypocrite who... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Toby Marks' 62 Films of Halloween
Q: What was your approach to choosing these films?
It was really chaotic. I had some movies I wanted to watch, and then I'd have friends recommend others. It was very much a vibe check in the moment.
Toby Marks' 62 Films of Halloween
Q: What did you think of May?
I liked it. I thought the main girl was really delightful, and it was weirdly romantic and kind of sexy at times, which then was really creepy and weird.
Toby Marks' 62 Films of Halloween
Q: What did you think about the taking of Debra Logan?
I liked it a lot. I thought that it was a very clever premise that they were investigating one thing and then something else ends up happening.
Toby Marks' 62 Films of Halloween
Q: What was your experience with Freddie prior to this?
I've seen the first one many, many times. I've seen the second one quite a few times. Loved the third one. I watched Freddie vs. Jason, which was actually the first Freddie movie I ever saw.
Toby Marks' 62 Films of Halloween
Q: Tell me a little bit about your relationship with horror, how you got into the genre, and then also how you managed to spend your October.
I used to be scaredy cat. I was a huge baby. I did not love horror growing up. I did watch some of the early 2000s ones with my girls at slumber parties, but it wasn't until I got together with my husband, who was into horror, that I started watching more.
