Werewolf Ambulance is a horror movie comedy podcast. Allen and Katie watch horror movies from all eras and of all qualities and then discuss them in a not-so-academic way (just as the name "Werewolf Ambulance" might imply!) and then discuss and rate them. The episodes do contain spoilers, so please watch the films before listening if that bothers you!

  • How to Kill a Campy Horror Movie

I gave this podcast a chance and listened to the Puppet Master I and II episodes. Honestly, I’m not sure how I even made it through them. The hosts sounded like two drunk and obnoxious dinner guests who had nothing interesting to say but were convinced they were the smartest people in the room.

They managed to strip all the fun out of campy horror movies and turn them into something painfully dull. Their so-called insights were more irritating than enlightening, and several times I caught mysel... more

  • Thank you!!

I was looking for a podcast to replace the void left by Gaylords of Darkness and found you suggested on Reddit—seeing the one star ratings for “politics” must mean you’re my people. The real test for me was listening to your episode on Sleepaway Camp—as a trans person who has been burned before by (cis) podcast hosts talking about this movie, I was kinda like “oh no” BUT I loved your review (especially the trauma lens!) and your continued support of trans folks and trans rights. Thanks for brigh... more
