  • Is Hannah’s name Hannah Hanna? I live.

Definitely a mainstay in my Horror podcast rotation. I like that the Hanna’s don’t always agree (I almost always side with Hannah), and it actually adds to their chemistry. Very easy to listen to! La Push, baby!

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (2026) - ft. Reel Takes
Q: How important is the marketing approach to a film like this, and did it impact reception?
Marketing is crucial; the group argues that poor outreach and spoiling key moments can dampen audience interest, potentially affecting a film's performance regardless of quality.
28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (2026) - ft. Reel Takes
Q: What were your expectations going into Bone Temple given the different director and the first film?
Expectations were mixed but curious; there was interest in a change in director, a new tonal approach, and a hope for stronger, more coherent storytelling while recognizing the risk of not replicating the first film's energy.
Suspiria (1977) VS Suspiria (2018) - ft. Heather Stewart
Q: Heather, what is your background with Rev Almanac and how did you come to join the project for this episode?
Heather explains her recent collaboration with Revisionist Almanac and how she provides European perspective and host questions, expanding the show's coverage beyond the American-centric view.
Horror Movie Draft by Genre (ft. I've Seen that One)
Q: How did you decide the order for your picks?
We used a random wheel to determine the order and then a snake draft to assign turns, which created a dynamic where two picks come back-to-back for some players and adds a strategic layer to what to steal.
Bonus Episode: Interview with Rushabh Patel, actor and producer for "I Know Exactly How You Die"
Q: What can you tell us about the practical effects and why they matter in horror?
He emphasizes that practical effects add texture and realism, improving immersion for actors and audiences, and argues that audiences today can spot shortcuts, making practical effects imperative for credibility.
