  • Is Hannah’s name Hannah Hanna? I live.

Definitely a mainstay in my Horror podcast rotation. I like that the Hanna’s don’t always agree (I almost always side with Hannah), and it actually adds to their chemistry. Very easy to listen to! La Push, baby!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021) - "A Few Good Ghouls" (ft. Paranormal in Pennsylvania)
Q: What do you think about the legal drama versus the haunted-house focus?
The guests and hosts generally agree the movie would have benefited from a tighter legal-drama focus, arguing that the Warrens' involvement should have been used to drive the courtroom narrative rather than shoehorned occult elements, which diluted the story and pacing.
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021) - "A Few Good Ghouls" (ft. Paranormal in Pennsylvania)
Q: Sara, what do you know about the real case behind the film?
Sara shares that she wasn't deeply familiar with the first case but was surprised by how much of the film diverges from the real events; she emphasizes that the genuine parts involve multiple exorcisms and a demonic possession defense that did not succeed in court, and that the occult elements in the film feel exaggerated or fictionalized.
2020's Horror Movie Draft (ft. Final Girls Podcast)
Q: So what got you into horror podcasting and what made you start this show?
One host described discovering Terrifier 3 and being inspired by Sienna as the perfect Final Girl, which led to starting the podcast with Kelly as a co-host due to shared film analysis background and UC Davis ties.
2020's Horror Movie Draft (ft. Final Girls Podcast)
Q: And why don't you explain the general premise of your show?
Final Girls discusses Final Girls in horror movies, with a host team that explores various iconic and lesser-known Final Girls across different films, often highlighting how strength and resilience are portrayed.
28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (2026) - ft. Reel Takes
Q: How important is the marketing approach to a film like this, and did it impact reception?
Marketing is crucial; the group argues that poor outreach and spoiling key moments can dampen audience interest, potentially affecting a film's performance regardless of quality.
