On October 21, 2023, beloved Detroit community leader Samantha Woll was found brutally stabbed to death outside her home—two weeks to the day after the October 7 attacks on Israel. It looked like an open-and-shut case—a hate crime. But swiftly the po... more

Bari, there needs to be a section for book recommendations on The Free Press - So many books have been brought up in interviews that I always wish I could remember and go back to when I put something down!
I’ve followed your podcast for years. I appreciated your view points even if I didn’t agree. I belong to no political party. However, your silence on current national and international affairs is deafening. Your avoidance of criticizing this administration and human rights violations is cowardly. I wish you well, but I will no longer be supporting your platforms.

I am so happy for the growing success of TFP and it gives me hope that the majority of Americans do indeed have common sense. I listen to this podcast for my news so I can get beyond the hype and listen to different views, after research and thinking has been done. Keep up the great work!

The guiding philosophy of this pod and publication is support for Israel, calling out anti-Semitism, and resentment of liberal media elites (Bari’s old bosses). It’s not a philosophy as much as a grievance narrative and it creates a lot of bad allegiances, namely the frequent normalizing of Trumpism and MAGA
