  • Informative and fun!

I am a longtime listener of Girl Next Door and had a hunch that even though I don’t homeschool I would still find Erica’s podcast interesting, engaging and fun. I was right! Thank you Erica!

  • Highly recommend this podcast, even for non-homeschoolers

I love Erica’s perspectives on life, parenting and teaching. I’m a long time fan of the Girl Next Door podcast and didn’t realize how much I would love this show as well. I’m glad I checked it out. As a public school teacher, I get a lot of great ideas and take-always from her. As a mom, I have gained soooo much insight from her and how to make my household run smoothly, even taking time for myself so I can be a good mom. The icing on the cake- she is just fun!

  • Exactly what I needed

I love that there is specific curriculum talk. Great ideas for how an actual day plays out. The only problem is I wish there were more….like daily podcasts 😂 ❤️

  • Relatable & Thoughtful

I love Erica’s other podcast, Girls Next Door (another local girl here!) so I decided to check this out even though I don’t homeschool. It’s now one of my new faves! She has so many great gems on parenting, relationships, routines, etc. intermingled with her homeschooling tips. Definitely a must-listen for parents, teachers, caregivers, or anyone with children in their lives!

  • Direct and thoughtful

I’m new to homeschooling, but I would honestly enjoy this podcast even if my children were in school. Erika has such a unique voice- direct, honest, with humor to boot. If we were friends in real life, I would totally call her when I am in a “Give it to me straight” situation, knowing that I’d get a compassionate but no nonsense response. Keep it up!!
