  • Creative, Inspirational, Authentic

Elsie and Emma are a total delight. Whether sharing design tips or ghost stories, I enjoy their creativity and candor. I appreciate their honesty about their creative journeys and book and movie recommendations.

I also appreciate how they talk about running a small business, the realities of social media, and transformation into a new creative career.

Both women are so creative—and this is contagious!

Btw the Stuffing Meatball recipe is amazing as are their other recipes.

  • Love this Blog + Podcast

Been a longtime reader and now listener

and love both. The episode topics are getting a little repetitive imo, but maybe cause I’ve been a follower since the start.

#298: The Five Minute Practice that Changed my Life (with guest Katie Day)
Q: What are the three steps of the Daily Three, and why do they work?
They are: 1) drink a large glass of water to start the day and signal a win, 2) write three things you're grateful for to rewire your attention toward the positive, and 3) write first-person goals to shift beliefs and automate future actions.
#298: The Five Minute Practice that Changed my Life (with guest Katie Day)
Q: Are you ready?
Yes, let's begin with a five-minute daily practice that includes water, gratitude, and first-person goals, which sets the foundation for deeper habit work.
#291: Work from Home Stories
Q: Crystal's question from the listener: what do your daily routines look like as you run two businesses and raise kids?
They detailed distinct but complementary schedules: early mornings for writing and personal projects, school hours for focused work, afternoon routines with naps and kid time, and a shared post-dinner wind-down with time for each other or chores; they emphasize planning, time-blocking, and rewarding themselves for completing tasks.
#286: Core Values
Q: Do you keep your butter in the fridge or on the counter?
Most of the hosts keep their butter in the fridge but discuss the benefits of having it on the counter for easier spreading.
#282: The Lost Arts
Q: Would you tell people to do this instead of blogging?
I think that this is a better format for this year, especially for writing about your life.
