  • It’s a winner!

My son (8 years old) and I love listening to this podcast together. We particularly enjoy Elliot’s sense of humour! We don’t currently go to church, but have loved Tim and Elliot’s fun and thoughtful approach to faith - which has provided plenty to talk about. The Make Elliot Laugh slot at the end is one of our favourite bits!

  • Many homegrown truths

Eliot is one of my favourite faith commentators. He and his Dad often say things which I recognise in myself but hadn’t identified until they name them.

This is an honest, fearless, hopeful podcast which sheds light far and wide.

Hospitality - Soil, Stones & the Quiet Work of Welcome (HF04)
Q: Looking back over the month, which activity did you enjoy most? Which made you feel the happiest or which made you feel the most kind of connected?
Probably people coming over because it can sometimes be hard to connect with nature or strangers but quite easy to connect with people in the same room.
Hospitality - Soil, Stones & the Quiet Work of Welcome (HF04)
Q: What was the most surprising thing about having guests over? What did you enjoy the most? What did you question?
I had in mind that it was going to be quite a tiring experience, but I found it quite energizing. It also made the weekend feel longer.
Gratitude - Pebble Painting, Sage Sniffing & the Practice of Paying Attention (HF01)
Q: Why do you think God exists?
Well, the most honest answer is the way I was raised. You know, I was just brought up to believe it.
