Every Thursday, I get excited about another episode of Home Grown. Very informative but grounded in practical information (and a bit of humor), listening is a weekly highlight. Both speakers have a lovely podcast presence. I find a lot of the content applicable to the US, but my favorite thing is that the content isn’t just for people with estate gardens or large backyards. Added bonus is that it’s very “clean,” so I can listen with kids in the car.
Love the show, but disappointed from the use of plant research from tel aviv university, knowing there is an ongoing genocide of Palestinians with farmers having their fertile land, olive and fruit trees destroyed. Rather than legitimising institutions built on stolen land please amplify the efforts of Palestinians trying to innovatively grow food while being trapped in an open air prison! There are many examples to research. Thank you💚
Excellent Podcast by people that are as passionate about gardening as they are nature.
Loads of great tips and a relaxed fun vibe
I bloody love this podcast; two very down to earth people talking sense that I can understand without unnecessarily complicated big words. Who knew strawberries were asexual - I do now. They clearly have respect for each other and between them share a lot of information; I have only listened to two episode’s and I am on nil points from their quiz! Highly recommend 🌟

A practical, friendly gardening podcast hosted by two UK experts covers growing food in a range of spaces—from balconies to allotments—through seasonal tips, personal stories, and accessible how-tos. The hosts blend hands-on demonstrations with historical anecdotes, plant lore, and real-world project ideas, often weaving in guests or sponsor segments that spotlight seeds, tools, and urban growing solutions.
