  • Not a fan of the narrator

Good content, but can’t listen to more than 10 mins. Very poor intonation and energy.

  • Extremely ill informed

Extremely ill informed first episode. Instead of starting with ignorant narrative of colonial India it should have started with the idea of atomism which originated in India. The narrative seems like India and Indians are foreign to “Science”. Man such a sad state of affairs. Gotta wait another generation to see “Indians” really having an optimistic sub consicious.

  • Top research, could be better delivery

Excellent research. Lots of details, many of which don’t exist in any of the history text books. Episodes are rich in data. Delivery could be less pompous and in an even manner. Thank you. Amaruvi Devanathan.

  • Terrific Show

Thank you so much Anirban. I have been following your podcast for a while now. It is both informative and entertaining. It presents complicated historical issues in a compact and accessible manner. For those not formally trained in history, but with an active interest in it, it is a great source of learning. Your language is accessible and your delivery is clear. The latest episode on the crash of 1865 in Bombay was riveting. I often recommend it to my friends and contacts. I am not at all surpr... more

  • Interesting topics, horrible delivery

The topics are intriguing and get me to listen to the podcast. But when I start, I hear a monotonous Bengali accented and wordy sentences read out from a script. It kills the meaning and the what it could have been.
