Comedians Felipe Esparza and Butch Escobar are NOT history experts. Actually, they barely passed history in high school... But they like talking about and diving into different subjects... and they're willing to learn - and share what they've learned. Some topics are just 1 episode, others take up several episodes. If you didn't learn this stuff in skoo, don't be a foo and check out this podcast!

  • These foo’s do history!

I love Butch and Felipe! It’s like chillin with friends having a real conversation that keeps me interested instead of listening to a dry, mono toned guest host on some of the other history shows I’ve tried. It’s cool to see how far they’ve come in a short time, I love how butch gets so excited about the subjects and Felipe is learning to not interrupt so much lol. Thank you guys for keeping me company when I’m lonely! I even play you guys for my husband on the phone, he’s in the pinta! You y’al... more

  • A Female Foo for This Pod

It keeps getting better with every episode. The topics are wide ranging and intriguing. Felipe is just so funny, and Butch is very good at keeping things moving while interjecting hilarity.

I love hearing the passion in Butch’s voice and have noticed he is consistently researching the topics more and more including lots of fascinating facts.

I feel like I’m in the minority of women who have a keen interest in both comedy and history. This pod blends both in an awesome way. I’m learning a lot... more
