  • Like the show, should be longer

I wish the episodes were longer, hard to listen to 5-10 minute episodes

  • Hello, I rarely comment negatively

but this calls for it. Find this brainstorming session - on a movie .

making plan - with bashing comments on all kind of issues - including individuals in the movie industry. Rather inapropriate - out of scope & style of the usual.

Please consider keep your brainstorming internal.

  • I'm 6 episodes in and so far it's just a cold list of facts and events. It sounds like the narrator is reading a wiki page on the bible. They are often repeating the same things a few times with different words. they are not offering any personal interpretation or point of view. The flat, obsessive tone becomes unpleasant after a while. also there are two minutes of commercials every five minutes of content

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Archaeology (part 1 of 2)
Q: What do biblical archaeologists really do in the Holy Land?
Guest explains that archaeology is a science about recovering material culture, documenting contexts meticulously, and publishing data so others can verify and reinterpret findings, rather than simply treasure hunting or proving biblical narratives. He notes the importance of field questions, the non-replicable nature of excavation, and the ongoing interpretive process among scholars.
E214. Historical AfterLife
Q: Final question for you. For people who are interested, first in learning more about the historical Jesus, the real historical Jesus, not the one that is invented by people who have an agenda, some book or some resource recommendations, and then people who want to learn more about the theology surrounding the death and resurrection of Christ.
The guest/host discusses using established sources and theologians to explore both the historical person and the theological claims, highlighting works by Josephus and authors like David Limbaugh and John Stott as starting points for deeper study.
312. Enduring Light of Fatima
Q: Would you say that the more that one learns about the apparition in regards to Our Lady Fatima and the evidence behind it, would one come to the conclusion that it actually happened or to a more skeptical or agnostic conclusion?
The answer depends on how one weighs the data after learning more; the host probes whether increased knowledge strengthens belief, but the guest explains that the conclusion varies with factors and cautions against assuming more data always equals more conviction, while noting that the data can support Fatima as a genuine private revelation.
310. Mother of the Church
Q: What does it mean for Mary to be the Mother of the Church?
She is uniquely united with Christ and participates in the Church's mission through her faith, obedience, and intercession, serving as a model of grace and motherhood for believers.
306. Sister Lucia
Q: What is the distinction between public and private revelation, and how does that affect belief in Fatima?
Public revelation is binding and found in Scripture and Tradition, while private revelations like Fatima are not required beliefs for Catholics; they are judged by bishops and may be believed or not depending on individual conscience.
