  • Poor sound quality discouraging listening

    I listen to a lot of health and technology podcasts. Lack of adequate microphone quality and sound engineering on the HIMSS podcast drives me away from becoming a regular listener. The host’s issues with with vocal fry and nasality (get some vocal coaching) can be mediated by better equipment. But when the guest is talking in an echo chamber, the sound issues are seriously distracting. In the case of May 9, 2025 episode they were unbearable; I stopped listening. a little sound engineering might ... more
