Reviews

4.5 out of 5 stars from 37 ratings
  • Too Political & Insensitive

Frequent content, but this pod is getting too political. Instead of showing compassion for Charlie Kirk, getting assassinated, this pod chose to rant using talking points straight out of the Democratic party playbook… Completely disgusting!. I want 100% horse racing and they crossed the line for me I’m no longer a listener and I don’t recommend it.

  • No More Gino…Toxic

Appreciate the frequent content but please no more Gino Buccola - he’s completely toxic and will alienate a significant portion of your audience. HHH you’re better than this!

THE LEADERBOARD, Ep. 17 ; TwinSpires Contest Talk || 3/1 Recap + 3/7 Contest Preview
Q: What was your overall contest strategy going into Rebel Day and how did it evolve by Race 10 and Race 11?
Ryan explains that he focused on finding a lower-cost entry that could yield a big payoff by leveraging two primary bets, with one entry allowing him to lock in risk and the other to chase upside, complemented by a disciplined approach to exactas and doubles.
THE LEADERBOARD, Ep. 12 ; TwinSpires Contest Talk || 1/24 Recap + 1/31 Contest Preview
Q: Why do all these tournaments seem to limit two NHC seats no matter how many entries?
It's because TwinSpires is obligated to commit to a number of seats before the tournament, they can't just keep upping the number of NHC seats based on entries.
THE LEADERBOARD, Ep. 2 ; TwinSpires Live-Money Contest Talk
Q: What was your strategy going into the day in general?
Mike discussed his approach of focusing on the latter half of the card and leveraging his strong opinions.
THE LEADERBOARD, Ep. 1 ; Twin Spires Live-Money Contest Talk
Q: Why would anyone who's interested in horse racing and betting be interested in Twin Spires contests?
Darren highlighted that Twin Spires has developed a user-friendly contest format with options for every level of player, ensuring that contests are accessible and rewarding.
2025 BREEDERS' CUP: HOW TO PLAY THE FAVORITES; Picks & Ponies Ep. 433
Q: What is your approach to betting in the Philly and Mares Sprint?
I'm almost always fading the favorite in that race as it's usually quite volatile.
