Would say it’s in pretty bad taste that you would end a podcast without announcing it whatsoever. That’s the equivalency of abandoning your supporters and listeners. I would think Megan Devine would have more etiquette than that. I’m so taken back that the last episode is in July 2024 and it’s February 2025 now I mean come on.
This podcast is a refreshing realistic view of grief. The big grief of death AND the smaller normalized griefs of everyday life. The episode on self- care is wonderful, realistic , and speaks to common experiences. I also LOVED the episode of debunking the “ stages” of grief was so happy I was not alone in NOT relating to them. Thank you for bringing a down- to -earth voice to the field of mental health.
I have been listening to this for a year now and it has been a source of constant comfort. It is an oasis where everyone’s form of grief or reason for grief is validated and supported. Please do another episode re pet loss - there is so much more to say. Thank you!
Thank you for this work. Deep grief from an out of order death of my son was such emotional chaos and truly debilitating. This book has been indescribably helpful. It has helped me process some of the chaos and validates some of my many emotions. I continue to listen to it on a regular basis to help sort out the tough stuff. Thank you doesn’t seem to be enough but it’s as clever as I can currently be . Thank you
My friend recommended your book and listening to the podcast followed on
I pay it forward by sharing your book with others as a way of saying thank you .
As a RN and unpaid carer of both my elderly parents I experienced traumatic grief . Following mums death , a pandemic and then dads death .
Your book affirmed my right to grieve and the insensitivity of my manager and HR .
Thank you for sharing and giving me permission to grieve
