Very good writing and the same for voice acting. The audio mixing is pretty rough though.
Gave this a go because a good podcast recommended it, I had high hopes... But wow - awful. I assume it was written by an "edgy", Christian teen, at least that's the impression I got. Only listened to the first episode (S1) and it was an absolute slog to get through. Sound production is really bad, hard to understand a lot of the dialogue. The narrator speaks in a droning monotone that's painful to listen to. I have no idea what even happened in the episode. I won't bother with the rest
Mannnn I really wanted to like this. I love horror and anthology podcasts, but the sound production is just terrible, I have to turn the volume up and keep going back to understand what people are saying, and it just…drags. So much unnecessary dialogue. I’ll keep trying to power through it but overall I’m really not impressed.
I absolutely abhor religious stuff, especially preaching. I am not going to finish the first season.
I get what you’re trying to do but the Christian content is just a little bit too cringy. It’s taking too long to get to the good stuff.
