  • Very good writing

Very good writing and the same for voice acting. The audio mixing is pretty rough though.

  • Gave this a go because a good podcast recommended it, I had high hopes... But wow - awful. I assume it was written by an "edgy", Christian teen, at least that's the impression I got. Only listened to the first episode (S1) and it was an absolute slog to get through. Sound production is really bad, hard to understand a lot of the dialogue. The narrator speaks in a droning monotone that's painful to listen to. I have no idea what even happened in the episode. I won't bother with the rest

  • Super hopeful, disappointing.

Mannnn I really wanted to like this. I love horror and anthology podcasts, but the sound production is just terrible, I have to turn the volume up and keep going back to understand what people are saying, and it just…drags. So much unnecessary dialogue. I’ll keep trying to power through it but overall I’m really not impressed.

  • Hoping season 2 will be better

I absolutely abhor religious stuff, especially preaching. I am not going to finish the first season.

  • Too much Christian Content

I get what you’re trying to do but the Christian content is just a little bit too cringy. It’s taking too long to get to the good stuff.

Q: If somebody's own personal shame and guilt makes them want to be baptized even less, what would you say to someone like that?
The only real answer to a lack of self-love is God, who loves you better than you can.
