I very much look forward to your podcasts. I especially loved the most recent one where you shared your birth story! Informed consent, exploring alternatives to conventional medical care, and knowing all the options is so important and you make it possible to do all of these things well by creating this content for us all to enjoy and learn from! Keep it up my friends :)

  • Love it

I look forward to the new topics each week as I learn so much! Thank you for talking about less popular and less mainstream problems/dilemmas, and opening my eyes and ears. My only complaint is that I usually wish the episodes were longer because the guest and the information is so great!

  • Outstanding, trustworthy information!

I’m so grateful to be a patient at this practice. I find these podcasts to be full of honest, timely information. I look forward to each new episode and frequently share them with friends and family. Since becoming a patient here, my thyroid replacement and hormones are optimal. Based on their recommendation of adding Vitamin D and getting optimal, I haven’t been sick in 6 years. Thanks for all the hard work you put into researching what is best for your patients!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Beyond the Drill: Biological Dentistry with Dr. Toni Engram
Q: What would you say just from a general wellness standpoint when it comes to dental care, and how does your approach differ in a basic checkup and cleaning?
Dr. Engram outlines a holistic approach that goes beyond standard cleaning by considering toxin exposure, the role of the mouth in breathing and sleep, and using safer materials, with emphasis on prevention, diet, and microbiome health as core to long-term oral and systemic wellness.
The Mighty Microbiome: Igniting Your Metabolism with Anu Simh
Q: What does your MBHR protocol stand for, and how does it guide practical changes for women in their 40s and beyond?
MBHR stands for Microbiome, Brain, Hormones, with emphasis on how gut bacteria affect energy and cravings, how dopamine responses influence eating, and how aging hormones alter metabolism. The protocol guides practical, personalized steps—like increasing fiber, choosing microbiome-friendly foods, and reframing mindset—to support lasting weight loss and energy.
The Mighty Microbiome: Igniting Your Metabolism with Anu Simh
Q: I would love to hear just a broad overview. You've worked with lots of women. What do you think are some of those primary problems that are contributing to our lack of being able to feel well and energized?
The main issues come from age-related hormonal shifts, microbiome changes, stress from juggling family and work, and the common pattern of restrictive dieting that backfires. The approach is to acknowledge how biology changes, focus on gentle lifestyle adjustments, and build sustainable systems rather than drastic calorie cutting.
The Power of Hydrogen Water: A Conversation with Dr. Paul Barattiero
Q: How much hydrogen water should people drink daily, and how do products like Echo bottles support this?
Echo products provide different capacities (e.g., Echo Go Plus, Echo Flask) with app tracking to monitor intake, daily goals, and hydration streaks, helping users maintain an effective and convenient hydrogen intake.
The Power of Hydrogen Water: A Conversation with Dr. Paul Barattiero
Q: What exactly is hydrogen doing at the cellular level, and how does it affect mitochondria and oxidative stress?
Hydrogen acts as a signal modulator that helps regulate cellular pathways, reducing oxidative stress and limiting harmful radicals like hydroxyl radicals, thereby supporting mitochondrial function and energy production.
