  • Great show! But clipping is a problem.

I started listening to this show once Polumbus joined. So glad he was re-united with D-Mac. This will be my go-to sports show from now on. I love Hastings on the show too especially since he has some of the most entertaining stories… However, my one gripe about this show is that Hastings mic is always CLIPPING. Which can be painful to the ears when wearing headphones. Please fix the audio levels on Hastings mic! Maybe get him a new mic that can handle his volume changes better.

  • Need to update sooner

On the apple podcast app there are some days that it doesn’t get loaded on here but on Spotify instead and also Spotify seems to get the shows uploaded a lot sooner in the day too, please fix, thanks!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

8-5-26 Hour 4: LIVE from Broncos training camp
Q: What did you think of the Ellinger rotation today compared to Stidham and the rest of the QB group?
Ellinger had a good day and seemed to be the favored backup, with some hosts noting the rotation and the coaching staff's intent to evaluate through preseason snaps.
8-5-26 Hour 3: LIVE from Broncos training camp
Q: What do you see with what you see with Waddle?
The panelists note that Waddle appeared to have a muscle issue and that the team will monitor, but they downplay it as muscle tightness rather than a serious injury, expecting a cautious ramp-up.
7-27-26 Hour 2: Jake Coyne breaks down Nuggets salary cap
Q: What does the future look like for Peyton Watson if the Nuggets keep him under a high tax bill or pursue a sign-and-trade?
If Peyton Watson stays under a loose leash with the Second Apron, he could have a strong year and become an unrestricted free agent next year, but a high tax bill could complicate long-term retention; a sign-and-trade adds more complexity and multi-party negotiation, potentially limiting his path to a stable match with the Nuggets.
7-27-26 Hour 2: Jake Coyne breaks down Nuggets salary cap
Q: Would trading Aaron Gordon be the simplest fix to get under the Second Apron, and what would that mean for the on-court rotation?
Trading Aaron Gordon could significantly reduce salary commitments and help clear space under the apron, but it would alter the team's on-court dynamics and depth, requiring other players to step up to replace his production and leadership.
7-27-26 Hour 2: Jake Coyne breaks down Nuggets salary cap
Q: So what can't they do under the Second Apron, and what could they still do that would help them get under it by season's end?
The Second Apron restricts certain trade and sign-and-trade options; however, teams can still pursue non-player assets and draft compensation moves, and they can target a trade that brings their total under the threshold by trimming around $2 million, potentially by exchanging higher-salary contracts for lower-salary players or using assets to balance the deal.
