Harald's insights and understanding of the origins of the Industrial Revolution are Great. Keep up the good work.
A history lesson with all of the perspective. It's amazing how much can be learned when looking at a topic with all of the context leading up to it!
Good different.
I listen to many history podcasts, and can safely say that Hanging with History is unique in its class. The basics (who, what, when) are all there, and are enhanced by Harald’s original perspective on the “why” and “how.” I’m not completely sold on the quirky format, but am challenged by the cross-disciplinary analysis, reverse engineering of the industrial and agricultural revolutions, and engaging storytelling.
Focuses on how the industrial revolution came about by studying British history, and tries to identify how this world changing event was caused bu examining the unique features of England as compared to the rest of Europe and the world. Great podcast that offers a good historical perspective and focuses how great we have it now, how bad we had it before the industrial revolution and how “that miracle that happened, that one time”, happened.
