RTHK.HK海底攝影的發展，只有短短幾十年的歷史，主要原因是受到攝影器材的限制。隨著科技的發達，水底攝影機已經變成普及的玩意。一部幾十元的相機，已經可以在水底拍攝。大部份潛水愛好者，總會帶備一部水底相機，拍攝水底多姿多彩的世界。 雖然水底攝影不再是遙不可及，但以海底攝影為生的專業攝影師卻廖廖可數，在這個行業的華人，更加是少之又少。 一連五集的「海底漫遊﹣華人攝影師」，將紀錄五位來自亞洲的華人水底攝影師，跟隨他們到印尼、帕勞、斐濟、汶萊、及中國水底，拍攝色彩燦爛奪目的海洋生物，還有淹沒在水下的古城，從中體會他們對水下世界的感受。
