The reviews are harsh on Desire. Someone does not have to be chained up to not be able to leave. The fear she put into that girl. The brainwashing. The psychological torment. Religious torment. The isolation from loved ones. It’s like an abusive marriages where people are questioning why a woman didn’t leave. Elizabeth smart was taken into public and interacted with other people. She didn’t even try to bolt. Because he had mentally imprisoned her with fear of hurting her family. We don’t know t... more
This podcast was very interesting but I was left wanting more… I don’t understand how Desiree was held prisoner and could not escape? If she was really held against her will and forced to do these things it was not explained very well?
Why the ad of season 2 is so sleazy, patronising and misogynistic? The salivating disgusting male voice describing ‘Kat’ in derogatory way calling her gorgeous makes me feel sick. Disgusting behaviour. It really doesn’t make me want to listen to it. Disgusting man.
Kat has no conscience. Desirre doesn’t appear to understand how much Patty did for her.
Desiree want a child and seemed to be free to leave. Kat didn’t lock her up. She made her own choices. Kat is clearly unwell but Desiree is an adult that made her own choices decisions
