I miss services a lot due to work and it has been great to be able to listen to a message that is practicle in my own car.
I moved back to the Illinois just about a month ago and getting plugged into GLC has been easy. It’s a welcoming atmosphere and the staff has worked really hard to develop a space where people who don’t feel comfortable in church - feel comfortable here.
As someone who’s attended Great Lakes for a few months, I’m so grateful to have found home in this community. The pastors and the churchgoers aren’t afraid to ask the hard things or talk about the socially-taboo stuff. They’re willing to lean into the discomfort, even when it means getting a little messy.
