  • Intelligent, Funny, Fanboy Extreme

My favorite show in DC sports. Easy listen, funny stories, real life, DC sports fanboys. Enough Nats talk (I’m a Braves can) and baseball knowledge (10 year fantasy baseball league), enough Caps and Wiz to maintain some interest, with fun coverage of our Skins. Love ya fellas!

  • Best DC sports radio show

This is the best DC sports radio program. G&D have great chemistry and have only gotten better over the years. The segments that have nothing to do with sports are just as good as the ones that do. Appreciate all the work that goes into this show, which keeps me connected to the DC area from afar. Thank you!

  • Best sports talk show hands down.

I discovered the show flipping through radio while doing some work in NOVA. I didn’t even like Commanders or redskins at the time but every time listening the show I became a fan of team. This is better than Skip and Shannon or other famous shows hands down keep up the good work.

  • CANNOT GIVE GUARANTEED CONTRACTS

There are better ways in terms to get players money when cut or cheaper with younger players. Payments based on years accumulated, specific time with one team, probably 20 different ways.

You give NFL Players guaranteed contracts, you are looking at an NBA level of physical sacrifice, which has hurt the league domestically. The reason people like the NFL is the physicality and absolute physical sacrifice. The league and the owners make enough money to substantially raise the level of injury ins... more

Q: Is Jaden Daniels a top-10 quarterback going into the season?
The hosts present a nuanced view, acknowledging Daniels appears in various top-10 lists but not consistently, with some experts placing him as low as 13-18 due to health and limited sample size, while others still see potential for him to climb into the top 10 if he returns to form.
Hour 4: Bobby Marks, Audio Vault, NBA Conference Finals
Q: What are the implications of extending Trey Young now versus waiting?
Marks outlines that there are multiple directions, including extending now with guaranteed years or letting the season play out to see if a lower-cost alternative emerges, while noting the risk of committing to a max-like deal in a shifting cap environment.
