  • Propaganda podcast

This is an anti India propaganda podcast. The host chooses guests who are subtly anti India. The host also takes a line of questioning that deliberately highlights the anti India side of an issue and leaves the pro India argument under or un explored. The only positive thing I can say about this podcast is that at least it is not full on Jihadi.

  • Glorified Book Review Stop

A very talented and knowledgeable host, but way too many episodes are book reviews on esoteric topics. The latter point robs the show of its focus and impact, in my view.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Whose Constitution Is It Anyway?
Q: What makes the Manipur case particularly distinctive in the broader story of India's constitution-making?
Manipur illustrates a robust, locally powered constitutional experiment with early elections and democratic governance that nonetheless faced override by central authority, highlighting the tension between regional experimentation and national integration.
Whose Constitution Is It Anyway?
Q: How did you redefine the traditional focus on the Constituent Assembly to include outside engagements?
We show that thousands of public actors—community groups, vernacular presses, regional assemblies, and princely states—shaped the text and its meaning, not just the debates inside the Assembly.
Whose Constitution Is It Anyway?
Q: Ornit, what brought the two of you together to write this book?
Our archival work and conversations over years converged organically; we discovered complementary materials, merged our archives, and decided to write together, producing a revisionist account that foregrounds public engagement as central to constitutional formation.
The Dark Side of the H-1B Dream
Q: How do these body shops operate within the larger tech pipeline and why do they persist?
Body shops operate as staffing intermediaries that promise sponsorship and placement but often depend on deceit, low wages, and the exploitation of workers who lack mobility, with end clients and universities sometimes complicit through demand and funding structures.
The Dark Side of the H-1B Dream
Q: Tell us a little bit about the three protagonists and why their stories illuminate the H-1B system.
The three protagonists—Virgil, Kumar, and Manu—represent different paths through the H-1B ecosystem, highlighting long-term precarity, the role of education and migration, and the human cost of systemic abuse, which helps disclose how the system operates on multiple levels.
