I love this podcast!!! It’s so unique and funny!!! AMAZED by how great it is!!!
I’ve been listening for a while now and I often burst out laughing with these people! I love the humor and puns and random nonsense about Nicholas Cage or skunks. And I gain a lot as a magic player who is interested in Draft and Commander.
However, I think that I might stop listening… nearly every episode has some tangent that gets serious and very forceful where the hosts really press the validity of their political/social/cultural view points. This opinion is often followed by some variety o... more
Came for the magic, stayed for the charm, remembered it for the Tony award worthy stage production
I like the positive tone you guys take for the most part but there have been some instances where you’ve ignored very relevant albeit controversial topics (the Mark Rosewater interview is a big one). I’d like the show more if you were willing to engage or even acknowledge some of the less positive or controversial topics in the MTG space. A warm, humor-driven show focused on Magic: The Gathering, blending deep card analysis with banter, personality-driven bits, and fan engagement. Episodes frequently cover new set previews, drafting and deck-building strategies, tournament insights, and occasional crossovers with pop culture and events. The vibe mixes accessibility for casual players with enough technical detail to satisfy more serious fans, and sponsorships or creator-centric segments help connect listeners with the MTG community and related products. A standout feature is the recurring Flavor Text Theatre and lighthearted mascot-driven humor that keeps complex topics approachable while maintaining a strong community feel.
